Service Administrator - Singapore

THE COMPANY: Peak Scientific Instruments, a fast–growing, global company specialising in the design, manufacture and support of laboratory gas generators predominately for the life science market. We have been developing award-winning gas generation products since 1997 and now employ 480 people globally in 20 international offices.
 
Due to continuing success and growth, we are looking for a Service Administrator to support our service operations in Singapore and South East Asia. Peak Singapore was established in 2012 and currently has a team of 11 employees. 
 
THE ROLE: Reporting to the Regional Service Manager, the Service Administrator will be responsible for:
  • Service ticket creation and closure on SAP CRM
  • Scheduling of jobs with external customers
  • Liaison with HQ for delivering efficiencies
  • Creation and updating of SAP customers account on CRM
  • Accurate scheduling of maintenance jobs including selection of P.M kits
  • Monthly replenishment of service spare stock level for regional field service team
  • Working with Service Sales team to maintain confident stock level for P.M kits
  • Working with Accounts for debt control (interim duties)
  • Coordination with logistics for timely delivery of needed items
  • Consolidation of monthly field service utilisation data
  • Creating, quoting, processing and invoicing all service products in SAP
  • Coordinating installations with customers
  • Coordination and organization of field service engineer visit
  • Managing customer service enquiries by telephone and e-mail in a prompt and efficient manner
  • Following-up on pending spare part quotations and update opportunities
 
THE CANDIDATE: You will be a conscience person with a proven track record in a similar role. Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft packages (Excel, PowerPoint & Outlook) is essential and experience of SAP or a similar order processing system would be beneficial. You will also possess the following:
  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills with the ability to work in a team and to build strong professional relationships at all levels
  • An enthusiastic, proactive approach with a professional nature; you will have the ability to learn quickly and work timeously with a willingness to take responsibility and ownership of multiple tasks
  • Great self-motivation, with exceptional time management skills along with the ability to properly prioritize tasks.
  • High levels of attention to detail
  • A strong understanding of geographical locations, times and distances
  • Resilient with the ability to remain effective in the face of pressure
