Service Delivery Manager - EMEA - Glasgow

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Service Delivery Manager - EMEA (Field Service) to make a significant contribution to our fast-paced manufacturing company which has experienced significant growth in recent years.

This role is to ensure Peak EMEA’s Service Delivery is performed to the highest standard. The role will require an individual that is a competent leader and manager who will also contribute to the EMEA Leadership Team. You will be operationally strong, an excellent communicator and manager able to consistently deliver the highest service delivery standards across the region.

THE ROLE: Reporting to the General Manager - EMEA, as well as the Global Service Delivery Manager, your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  • Leading the Service Managers, Field Service Engineers, Technical Support teams (25+).

  • Managing spare parts inventories and FSE van stocks, ensuring that all field personnel are ‘service ready’ regarding new products

  • Managing the EMEA Field Service Schedule
  • Analysing, managing and reporting on Service Delivery KPI’s and metrics across the region

  • Recruitment where appropriate to ensure agreed service levels can be adhered to

  • Leading the team with SAP B1 and utilising the information to improve overall efficiency of dealing with customer support

  • Leading and managing the EMEA Technical Product & Project Manager and supporting the development and delivery of complex installations

  • Escalate any serious commercial or operational issues to General Manager and Global Service Delivery Manager

THE CANDIDATE:

You must have a regional service delivery proven track record within a technical sector, where you’ve led and managed a large (25+), geographically dispersed team to achieve challenging targets. You will contribute to and support an engaging, open and positive team environment as well as adopting a friendly, accommodating and customer-first approach. You will be a strong communicator with the ability to grasp and understand technical detail and convey this easily. Experience of working in the scientific market would be beneficial, as would experience of working across the EMEA region.
