Service Office Manager - Paris

An exciting opportunity has a risen for a Service Office Manager, on a fixed term contract based in Palaiseau our French office in the southern suburbs of Paris. You will be responsible for the day to day running of the office as well as managing administration and finance staff, and regularly liaising with our HQ, based in the UK.
 
Peak France started in 2014 following the transfer of business from one of our distributers in France.  Currently Peak France has a team of 8 mainly in Sales and Field Service, with plans to expand over the next few years. 
 
THE ROLE: Reporting directly to the European Service Manager (ESM) and the Senior Territory  Manager - France, you will be responsible for;
  • Updating technical support and administration status to the ESM, highlighting any serious operational issues;
  • Office management – ensure smooth running of office on a day-to-day basis and perform appropriate duties (e.g. mailing, office supplies, bill payment, support to Peak colleagues and visitors etc.) as directed by ESM and/ or Senior Territory Manager;
  • Ensuring all customer requests are dealt with in a professional and efficient manner;
  • Liaising with other departments at HQ to ensure high level of collaboration in customer support;
  • Supervising local HR needs, liaising with respective Global HR representative in HQ;
  • Supporting local finance staff in conjunction with Overseas Finance Manager to ensure accurate monthly reporting;
  • Provide management with required reports set out in agreed format;
  • Work with local chartered finance agency and HQ finance team so that payroll, payments and tax returns are completed;
  • Monitor and manage work level and performance, assisting ESM in carrying out performance reviews where required.
THE CANDIDATE: Previous experience in Office Management is essential, preferably from a service delivery background. In addition you will have -
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
  • Good proficiency with Excel and other Microsoft Office 365 tools;
  • Ability to work under pressure against tight deadlines;
  • Good head for numbers and financial data;
  • Self-motivated as this is a highly autonomous role.
