Service Sales Specialist - Massachusetts

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Service Sales Specialist to join our Service Sales division, located in Billerica, Massachusetts. 
Peak Inc. is the rapidly expanding North American arm of Peak Scientific, with its main US office located in Billerica, Massachusetts, and plans for further significant growth over the next few years. You would be joining a North American team of around 55 staff, including dedicated sales and field service engineer teams covering the whole of mainland US and key territories in Canada.
THE ROLE: Reporting to the North America Service Sales Manager, you will sell and educate our existing customers on Peak Protected Service Contracts, with responsibility for supporting geographical and/or vertical territories within North America.
Your main job functions will include:
  • Proactive sales of Peak’s service portfolio, maximizing service coverage and service revenue from end user, OEM and distributor markets.
  • Nurturing relationships with existing customers to retain loyalty whilst developing customer service opportunities.
  • Working closely with Peak service departments and sales department in logistically organizing the facilitation of maintenance contracts and other service sales products.
  • Maintaining effective working relationships with global sales personnel for development of business specific to all territories.
  • Accurately preparing and recording sales orders utilizing our CRM (SAP).
  • Updating CRM system with all relevant customer information and orders.
  • Maintaining records of generator locations and warranty registrations.
THE CANDIDATE: You will ideally have 1-3 years Inside Sales experience or equivalent, with a proven ability to generate and close sales opportunities. You will be enthusiastic and proactive, with the ability to work under pressure to tight deadlines. In addition you will be flexible with the ability to multi-task and set priorities. Strong communication, interpersonal and organisational skills are essential. Experience of working with Microsoft packages (Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook), a working knowledge of SAP and/or CRM is desirable.
