With this continuing success and growth we are looking for a Service sales specialist to support our China service business growth.

Peak China is a key market for Peak Scientific both in terms of growth and its significant contribution to the £55 million annual turnover of the business. Since opening a dedicated office for China in Shanghai in 2012 with only a handful of employees, Peak has and continues to invest heavily in China, moving to a new state of the art facility in 2015 with over 30 office-based staff and over 30 Field Service and Sales employees covering the major regions of China including the key cities of Beijing, Guangzhou and Chengdu.

Peak China’s excellent performance was recently recognised for the “Best New Exporter to China” awarded by the British Business Awards in 2016 hosted by British Chamber of Commerce.

THE ROLE: Reporting to Service sales manager, this role will be based in Shanghai and involve extensive travel within China. Your main job functions will include:

  • Developing relationships with customers to grow service revenue
  • Making a phone with new customer frequently
  • Accurately preparing and recording sales orders and invoices
  • Managing generator customer base and sales leads information
  • Proactively generating new customer leads and selling Peak Scientific service products and spare parts to end user, OEM and distributor markets
  • Working closely with sales personnel in developing spare parts and service business
  • Updating CRM system with all relevant customer information and orders

THE CANDIDATE: You will have the following skills sets and experience:

  • Experience in end user and/or business to business sales
  • Bachelor degree in Sales and Marketing or Similar
  • Organised, with the ability to manage and maintain large quantities of data
  • Customer focussed – able to build relationships and gain trust over the phone/email
  • Self-motivated with the capacity to plan time effectively & prioritise
  • Communication – able to communicate clearly and accurately by adopting a range of styles, including oral and written English
  • Resilience – remains effective in the face of pressure
  • Excellent customer service skills
