In this role, you will be selling and educating both new and existing (Peak generator customers)on the full (Peak Protected) service product portfolio in addition to providing administrative support. It requires close collaboration with the generator sales, service delivery and HQ supporting teams.

The key objectives of the role will be to achieve sales growth and profitability for the German territory and achieve/exceed annual sales targets as directed.

Your duties will include:

  • Proactively generating new customer leads and selling service products to end user, OEM and distributor markets
  • Developing relationships with customers to grow service revenue and creating sales quotations for both new and existing customers
  • Managing generator customer base and sales lead information
  • Working closely with other departments  to assist customers with technical requests and spare parts purchases
  • Developing effective working relationships with colleagues and customers across the territory
  • Using CRM systems with all relevant customer information and orders
  • Supporting the team with any office related duties such as routing calls, office stock replenishment and invoicing

You will speak fluent English and ideally have demonstrable experience in end user or B2B sales and you will have experience of working autonomously and as part of a team. It would also be beneficial if you have worked in an account management role with a customer centric focus.   

You will also possess:

  • The ability to build relationships and gain trust via the phone/email and direct interaction with customers where appropriate
  • Proven experience in being highly organised, self-motivated and with the ability to plan time effectively and prioritise
  • The confidence to communicate clearly and accurately by adopting a range of styles
  • Resilience – ability to remain effective and positive in the face of pressure
  • Ability to manage personal and team targets with a results driven approach
