Service Sales Specialist - Delhi

Peak Scientific Instruments, a fast–growing company specialising in the manufacture of laboratory gas generators for the life science and biomedical market, is looking to recruit a Service Sales Specialist to support our customers and OEMs.
 
Reporting to Service Sales Supervisor, the role will be based at our New Delhi office and the successful candidate will be responsible for the sale of service plan renewals/new business to existing Peak clients nationwide.  Additionally, in line with Peak’s strong customer service ethos, the role will involve further development of aftersales customer service strategies and functions.
 
Peak’s Service department plays a vital part in our day to day business and is responsible for 1/3 of the total sales revenue of the company. There is room for exceptional growth within this division, and this role presents an excellent opportunity for an ambitious sales driven individual.
 
Key Tasks
  • Meeting service sales targets for order/invoicing/collection
  • Proactive sales of service plan renewals/new business to ensure retention of existing/new service revenue from end user, OEM and distributor in assigned territory
  • Customer relationship management
  • Sales trend analysis and reporting
  • Travelling, meeting and assisting (where necessary) customers for developing relation and managing sales of service plans in assigned territory
  • Identification of up-sale and cross sale opportunities
  • Nurturing relationships with existing customers to retain loyalty whilst developing customer service opportunities
  • Working closely with Peak service departments in logistically organising the facilitation of maintenance contracts
  • Manage complete quote to cash process and update in CRM
  • Accurately preparing and recording sales orders and invoices using the company’s ERP system
  • Invoicing the contracts orders
  • Payment follow up and collection
  • Updating CRM system SAP with all relevant customer information and orders
  • Maintaining records of generator locations and warranty registrations
 
Skills Required:
  • Experience in end user and/or business to business sales and sales process
  • Customer focussed – able to build relationships and gain trust
  • Able to manage relationships and team working
  • Self-motivated with the capacity to plan time effectively & prioritise
  • Communication – able to communicate clearly and accurately by adopting a range of styles
  • Resilience – remains effective in the face of pressure
  • Results driven, ability to manage personal and collective team targets
 
Qualifications & Experience       
  • Graduate/Diploma in Science/commerce (B.com) or equivalent
  • PG in Science/Commerce/Business would be an added advantage
  • Proven ability to generate and close sales opportunities
  • Direct experience of handling contract business/payments would be added advantage
