Location: Position will be based out of New Delhi and will be responsible for the designated territories within India.

Peak Scientific Instruments, a fast–growing company specialising in the manufacture of laboratory gas generators for the life science and biomedical market is looking to recruit Service Sales Specialist to handle our Contract Renewals business in India.

We are an award-winning company, with our head office based in Scotland, by Glasgow Airport and have a very strong reputation in the market place.  Our current turnover is £50M, with plans to grow significantly over the next few years.  We export 90% of our sales to approximately 126 countries and have a number of global offices including USA, China, South Africa, India, Brazil, Singapore, Mexico and Australia.

Reporting to Head of Service – India, South Asia and Middle East.

Job Functions

  • Service Plan sales - Renewals department
  • Customer Relationship Management
  • Sales trend analysis and reporting

Key Tasks

  • Proactive sales of service plan renewals to ensure retention of existing service revenue from end user, OEM and distributor markets
  • Identification of up-sale and cross sale opportunities
  • Nurturing relationships with existing customers to retain loyalty whilst developing customer service opportunities
  • Working closely with Peak service departments in logistically organising the facilitation of maintenance contracts
  • Assisting where necessary in the sale of new service plans to end users, OEMs and distributors
  • Accurately preparing and recording sales orders and invoices using the company’s Efacs system
  • Updating CRM system SAP with all relevant customer information and orders
  • Maintaining records of generator  locations and warranty registrations

Skills Required:

  • Experience in end user and/or business to business sales
  • Customer focussed – able to build relationships and gain trust
  •  Able to manage relationships and team working
  • Self-motivated with the capacity to plan time effectively & prioritise
  • Communication – able to communicate clearly and accurately by adopting a range of styles. Candidate must be fluent in English and Hindi. Knowledge of other regional language would be an advantage.
  • Resilience – remains effective in the face of pressure
  • Results driven, ability to manage personal and collective team targets
