Due to our continued growth in our Port Glasgow site and a new product range being rapidly developed, we’re delighted to be recruiting a new Technical Operator.
Reporting to the Production Team Lead, this role will involve the manufacture of complete units, sub-assemblies, testing and packing of products. You will be expected to meet quality and productivity targets in addition to processing units and sub-assemblies through approved test procedures and administering SAP.
Duties will include:
- Manufacturing of Industrial Nitrogen and Oxygen generators
- Turnkey skidded solutions with third party accessories
- Manufacturing generator sub-assemblies both mechanical and electrical
- Fault finding and analysis having technical and functional understanding
- Observing and executing to Peak’s high quality standards at all times
- Engaging with other departments to ensure integrity of BOM, Process, etc. and ensuring stock integrity, expediting shortages, kitting – as required
- Reporting and escalating all issues back to your department Team Lead while liaising with appropriate department for resolution
The successful candidate will have a manufacturing background and/ or basic electrical knowledge. You will bring a positive attitude with good interpersonal and teamwork skills to the role.
