With this continuing success and growth we are looking for a Technical Support Specialist to support our Japan operations.
THE ROLE: Reporting to the Country manager, this role will be based in Tokyo. Your main job functions will include:
- Provide a high level of technical support for our customers and business partners
- In conjunction with the Senior FSE, schedule all field service activities including Planned Maintenance Visits and Breakdown visits, adhering to Service Level Agreements
- Management of Inventory, including ordering and shipping all parts.
- Maintain records of all telephone calls, install base, service contract schedule
- Liaise with Global Technical Manager reporting product issues and field failures on a monthly basis
- Report all commercially sensitive escalations to the Country Manager in a timely fashion
THE CANDIDATE: You will have the following skills sets and experience:
- Experience in this type of engineering technical support role advantageous
- Self-motivated and ability to work with minimal supervision
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Knowledge of electronics and mechanical systems
- Previous knowledge of remote fault finding
- Microsoft Office Skills
- Ability to follow schematics
