Peak Scientific Instruments, a fast–growing company specialising in the manufacture of laboratory gas generators for the life science and biomedical market is looking to recruit a Territory Manager to be responsible for our North West States Territory (Northern California, OR, WA, ID and AK)  and form part of our growing Americas Sales team.

Peak Inc. is the rapidly expanding North American arm of Peak Scientific, with its main US office located in Billerica, Massachusetts, and plans for significant further growth over the next few years. You would be joining a North American team of around 50 staff, including dedicated sales and field service engineer teams covering the whole of mainland US and key territories in Canada.

Reporting to the NA Sales Manager, this role will be located in Northern California and will involve travel throughout the territory. Travel is likely to other parts of the USA as well as the occasional visit to our head office in Scotland.

You will be responsible for the following:

  • Achieving sales and driving growth to create longer term pipelines
  • Maintaining accurate sales forecasting via regular live update meetings
  • Providing sales and technical advice and support for OEMs, distributors and end users.
  • Supporting customers throughout the sales process including negotiating contracts and discounts
  • Developing new sources for strategic business development
  • Maintaining sales activity via the CRM
  • Working with the local field service engineer to develop and grow the business.  

The successful candidate will be a customer focussed individual, who has extensive knowledge of North American markets with relevant industry experience. You must demonstrate excellent inter-personal skills and the ability to develop relationships. You will need to be passionate about growing a successful business and have the desire to be part of a dynamic team. You will be highly independent as this is a fairly autonomous role and have strong business acumen. You will be able to demonstrate excellent problem solving skills in both technical and commercial situations.
