Home based ideally Lyon or in the allocated territory with travel circa 50%
As Territory Manager reporting to the Regional Sales Manager - Northern EU & France, this role will be based in Southeast France and will be primarily responsible for driving and developing business with our end users, as well as OEM accounts and our extensive distributor network. You will be part of a 50+ European Sales and Service team. (France office is based in Palaiseau)
Key elements will include:
- Providing sales advice and support for OEMs/customers to assist them to purchase our generators by offering solutions for their gas requirements
- Strategic Planning – examining and identifying the key regions and markets within territory and devising an action plan
- Responsible for achieving / exceeding sales objectives & targets
- Business Development – utilising all available tools to develop customer base and grow business in responsible territory
- Maintaining and developing customer relationships
The role requires a proven sales track record in a Laboratory environment, in France. With a clear customer focus, you will be an excellent problem-solver, both technically and commercially. In addition to strong business acumen, you’ll be happy to be measured by results, whether that’s new business revenue, development and growth of existing business and/or effective territory coverage. Language skills in French and English are essential for this role.
