Territory Manager Eastern Canada - Canada

As Territory Manager for Eastern Canada, reporting to the Head of Sales for North America (NA) you will be responsible for driving and developing business with our direct end users, OEM accounts and our expanding distributor network.  You will travel throughout the territory to Ontario, Quebec, Manitoba and Maritime provinces. Occasional travel is also likely to other parts of Canada.

Peak Inc. is the rapidly expanding North American arm of Peak Scientific, with its main US office located in Billerica, Massachusetts, and plans for significant further growth over the next few years. You would be joining a North American team of around 100 staff including dedicated sales and field service engineer teams covering the whole of mainland US and key territories in Canada.

In addition you will be responsible for -

  • Achieving / exceeding sales targets and objectives for the territory.
  • Providing sales advice and product recommendations for customers, OEMs and distributors.
  • Regular visits to your territory to provide support, guidance and training to customers as well as accompanying distributors on end user visits.
  • Developing and maintaining strong relationships with key OEM and end user customers.
  • Negotiating the terms of a sales agreement, ensuring agreed profit margins are maintained with the aim to win business.
  • Prospecting, growing, managing and maintaining a healthy sales pipeline.
  • Upkeep of quotations, monthly reports, prospects/pipeline activity with feedback at meetings.
  • Ensuring a record of sales, order information and customer contact details are entered and maintained in CRM system.
  • Strategic Planning – examine and identify the key regions within the territory and devise an action plan ensuring a focused business approach to your markets.

Skills and Qualifications -

  • Knowledge and/or experience of Canadian markets with relevant industry experience (B2B)
  • Proven international Sales management experience
  • Knowledge of chemistry, LCMS and GC highly beneficial
  • Experienced at managing and exceeding personal sales targets
  • Any additional languages are beneficial
  • Educated to degree level
  • Ability to work independently and successfully manage time and territory
  • Excellent analytical skills and ability to sell strategically within an account
