Territory Sales Manager – Northern Germany

Bremen, Hamburg or Hannover Area

THE COMPANY: Peak Scientific Instruments are a multi award winning company, who specialises in the manufacturing of laboratory gas generators for the life science and biomedical market, with our head office based in our modern facility near Glasgow International airport in Scotland.

We have been developing award-winning gas generation products since 1997 and now employ 360 people globally in 20 international offices, with a turnover of £45M. Over the last five years the company has enjoyed impressive annual growth between 25 and 30%, overall and 60% growth across the service division, selling 90% of our gas generator products overseas to over 120 countries.  Individuals who fit our culture and values will have a high degree of professionalism but appreciate our non- corporate feel in a fun atmosphere.

With this continuing success and growth we are looking for a Territory Sales Manager to drive sales and profitability with our end users as well as our OEM Accounts and our extensive distributor network in Northern Germany, for all Peak Scientific Products.

THE ROLE: Reporting to the Senior Territory Manager you will be based in Bremen, Hamburg or Hannover Area with travel around Northern Germany and will be responsible for:

  • providing Sales advice and support on a technical platform
  • supporting customers throughout the sales negotiation process
  • from a business development perspective, finding new sources for leads
  • attending exhibitions and seminars
  • monthly sales reporting and customer database maintenance

That will mean taking responsibility for strategic planning to ensure that we gain maximum market coverage across your territory.

THE CANDIDATE: Educated to Degree level you will have a proven sales track record in a capital environment in Germany.  With a clear customer focus, you will be an excellent problem-solver, both technically and commercially.  In addition to strong business acumen, you will be happy to be measured by results, whether that is new business revenue, development and growth of existing business and/or effective territory coverage. Language skills in German and English are essential for this role.
