Territory Manager - Northern Germany

Peak Scientific Germany GmbH opened its doors to its brand-new office in Düren in 2017. With a Team of three highly professional Service Engineers and Sales Managers, including a Specialist for Service Products, an exciting opportunity has arisen for a Territory Manager to make a significant contribution to the growth of this award-winning, international technology business.
 
THE ROLE: Reporting to the Senior Sales Manager, Germany, this role will be home based covering Bremen, Hamburg, Hannover and Berlin, and be primarily responsible for driving and developing business with our end users, as well as OEM accounts and our extensive distributor network. Key elements will include;
  • Providing sales solutions and advice for customers and distributors;
  • Supporting customers throughout the sales negotiation process;
  • From business development perspective, finding new sources for leads and attend exhibitions and seminars as appropriate; and
  • Monthly sales reporting and customer database maintenance.
 
That will mean taking responsibility for strategic planning to ensure that we gain maximum market coverage across your territory.

THE CANDIDATE: Educated to Degree level, as Territory Manager you will have a proven sales track record in a laboratory environment in Germany.  With a clear customer focus, you will be an excellent problem-solver, both technically and commercially.  In addition to strong business acumen, you will be ambitious, driven and happy to be measured by results, whether that’s new business revenue, development and growth of existing business and/or effective territory coverage.
