This is a rare opportunity to be a part of that, as we move into the next phase of growth, consolidation and global expansion with plans to establish new manufacturing and distribution capacity, both in the UK and internationally.

THE ROLE: As Territory Manager for Italy reporting to the Senior Territory for Southern Europe - this new opening will be based in Milan or the surrounding area and will be primarily responsible for  developing the overall Italian market for Peak Scientific.  Acting as a sales ambassador you will ensure that sales targets are met and exceeded for the territory. You will be responsible for establishing and maintaining mutually beneficial relationships with new and existing customers/ distributors and OEM partners. You will be part of a 50+ European Sales and Service team.

Key elements will include:

  • Providing sales advice and support for OEMs/customers
  • Strategic Planning – examining and identifying key regions within the territory
  • Business Development – utilising all available tools to develop the customer base and grow the business.
  • Maintaining and developing relationships with existing customers
  • Negotiating terms of sales agreements, ensuring agreed profit margins
  • Negotiating on delivery and specifications with other departments including engineering, logistics, marketing and production.
  • Advising customers/OEMs on forthcoming product developments

THE CANDIDATE: The role requires a proven sales track record in a Laboratory environment, in Italy.  With a clear customer focus, you will be an excellent problem-solver, both technically and commercially.  In addition to strong business acumen, you’ll be quite happy to be measured by results, whether that’s new business revenue, development and growth of existing business and/or effective territory coverage. Language skills in Italian and English are essential for this role.
