Field-based Central Scotland, NE or NW England with travel circa 50%. (ideally between the M8 and M6 corridor)
As a result of internal promotion, we have an exciting opportunity for a Territory Manager for the UK North & Ireland to develop and drive profitable sales growth. You will be accountable for ensuring personal sales targets are met and exceeded, whilst maintaining mutually beneficial relationships with new and existing customers, our Key Accounts, OEMs and business partners.
Reporting to the Regional Sales Manager for Northern EU & France you will be based in central Scotland or NE/NW England with travel in the field around UK North & Ireland. You will be customer focussed and committed to delivering and improving excellence in customer service. You will be part of a 50+ European Sales and Service team.
Key elements will include:
- Developing and exploiting new market opportunities, expanding the customer base and growing the business
- Meeting and exceeding personal sales targets and KPI’s
- Prospecting, growing and maintaining a healthy sales pipeline
- Build strong and effective relationships with regional OEM personnel
- Maximise sales opportunities for all Scientific product groups
- Ensuring all regional KPIs are adhered to
- Provide monthly performance reports to key stakeholders across the business
- Working and co-ordinating with HQ colleagues across all departments
The role will take responsibility to ensure we gain maximum market coverage across the UK North and Ireland territory.
Preferably educated to HND/Degree level you will have a proven sales track record with relevant industry experience (B2B) in Life Sciences, Biotech or Pharmaceuticals. With a clear customer focus, you will be an excellent problem-solver, both technically and commercially. In addition to strong business acumen, you will be experienced at managing and exceeding personal sales targets, whether that is new business revenue, development and growth of existing business and/or effective territory coverage.
