We are recruiting two Warehouse Operators to join our Warehouse team, based at our Head Office in Inchinnan by Glasgow Airport. The successful candidates will have previous experience of working in a fast paced warehouse environment as well as possess knowledge of computerised stores systems.
The Warehouse Operator’s role involves:
- Receiving, stocking, kitting, packing & despatching (Lab gas generators & spare parts)
- Stock integrity (stock checking & cycle counts)
- Liaising with all internal areas (Production, Planning, Procurement, Test, QC, Logistics)
- Dealing with Carriers & Delivery Drivers efficiently
- Transacting all material movement accurately
- Using initiative & working as a Team within the Warehouse
- Observing & maintaining all Health & Safety standards in line with company policy
- Being proactive and supporting Continuous Improvement Initiatives
- Achieving daily targets
You will need:
- Previous Warehousing / Storekeeping experience (essential)
- To have a valid Counterbalance FT license (desirable)
- PC literacy & skills (Excel & MS Word) (desirable)
- Experience in materials systems (SAP would be an advantage)
- Self-motivated with a keen sense of enthusiasm
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
This role is permanent, working hours are from 8am - 4.15pm Monday - Friday. You must be flexible as there may be some shift work and overtime required. In addition we offer 31 days holiday per year and excellent working conditions.
