Job: Western Europe Regional Manager

Based Paris, France – with ~40% travel within Western Europe

THE ROLE: As Western Europe Regional Manager reporting to our General Manager EMEA, your two-fold function will be to take on the day-to-day leadership and management of our important French territory and to assume commercial leadership for the wider western Europe region of EMEA (including France, Germany, Switzerland and Iberia).   Your principal responsibility will be to grow, develop and exploit generator sales opportunities within this developing region, initially focusing on the scientific market and evolving in time to focus on industrial markets.  Leading, managing and motivating a team of 14 to deliver results, you’ll drive both generator and service sales performance across the territory, as well as continuous improvement, in addition to:

  • developing and executing strategic plans to deliver sustainable, profitable growth

  • working alongside other teams, departments/functions and Peak HQ

  • leading the development of a strong and sustainable sales pipeline.

THE CANDIDATE: With at least a first degree and fluent in French and English (additional language(s) beneficial), you must have a significant commercial leadership track record in a similar industry with demonstrable transferable skills, having worked across the EMEA region working with colleagues from different backgrounds/cultures.   Able to grasp and understand technical detail and convey it easily, you’re a first-class communicator with strong awareness of French business practices, culture and HR/legal requirements and the ability to adapt these to work across the Western EU region and beyond.

Commercially astute and a strategic thinker and planner, you’re strong on analysis and can also offer:

  • good project management and execution skills

  • the ability to drive continuous improvement and development of processes

  • great customer-focus

  • effective relationship-building skills, both internally and externally.
